Voluntary product recall

In the interests of preventive consumer safety, GARDENA GmbH recalls the following products

GARDENA Battery Lawnmower PowerMax™ Li-40/37 (art. no. 5038)
GARDENA Battery Lawnmower PowerMax™ Li-40/41 (art. no. 5041)

The products were sold from January 2017 to November 2018 in DIY stores, garden centers and online shops in several European countries. In-house tests revealed a short circuit in the electronics during use and storage under certain conditions, which could cause a fire hazard.

Discontinue use!
Remove the battery for storage!

Please note: The return can be done free of charge. The battery is not necessary for revision and may not be sent due to dangerous goods regulations. It is not affected by the technical fault in the device electronics.
