“Alexa, tell smart system to send Robi home until the next schedule.” With the GARDENA smart system Skill for Amazon’s Alexa, you can control your smart SILENO conveniently via voice control. For now, you can start and park your mower using English or German. All you need to do is to say “Alexa, tell smart system to start my SILENO for 2 hours”. Or “Alexa, open smart system and park the mower until further notice.” We are working on making other devices and functions available to you by Alexa in the future.
How to get started?
To be able to use the skill, please first connect your GARDENA account to your Alexa. Activate the skill and open it with: "Alexa, open smart system". The skill will explain to you how to continue.
From all Gardena robotic mowers to the smart Water Control, smart Irrigation Control and smart Sensor to the smart Power Adapter, GARDENA devices can also be controlled with Google Home. Once configured within the GARDENA smart App, your products can controlled by voice with Google Assistant, or via the Google Home app with just a few clicks, as well as switched on and off.
The one-time setup of the watering schedules is first done via the GARDENA app, which advises the user on the best settings. Once this is done, the irrigation then literally listens to the word or follows the click in the Gardena or Google Home app.
