Traffic data
When you visit our website, a log-file is automatically processed on our web server with the following user data:

Personal Data

GARDENA does not knowingly gather any Personal Data from children under the age of 18 and does not aim its website at such persons. We advise parents and custodians to take an active interest in children’s activities and interests online.
Restricted area access
In case you want to participate in our special customer service “Garden Planer”, you have to register beforehand. Data transmitted to us in the context of registration will be used in order to plan your garden. We only collect your mail address and your age. You can change or delete your profile with the account at any time. Data will then be deleted from the system automatically.
Transfer of Personal Data
GARDENA will not transfer (other than for routing purpose) the Personal Data you provide on the Site to any third party, except (a) with your consent; (b) as may be required by law or court order; (c) to protect and defend the rights or property of GARDENA except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms; (d) to protect the personal safety of users of the Site; (e) to persons or companies with whom GARDENA has contracts to carry out the internal operations of the Site or our business; or (f) we reasonably believe that they are subject to law, binding scheme or contract which upholds principles for fair handling and adequate level of protection of Personal Data. We use Sitecore Analytics with the purpose of continuous improvements of our website through such tools as experience optimization, A/B testing, personalization, profiling and marketing automation. It is also used for serving visitors with nearest retailer location based on their location.
