Amazon Alexa: Control your smart SILENO conveniently via voice

“Alexa, tell smart system to send Robi home until the next schedule.” Met de GARDENA smart system functie voor Amazon’s Alexa, kunt u uw smart SILENO gemakkelijk bedienen via spraakbesturing. Voorlopig kunt u uw maaier starten/stoppen in het Engels of Duits. Het enige wat je hoeft te doen is te zeggen “Alexa, tell smart system to start my SILENO for 2 hours”. Of “Alexa, open smart system and park the mower until further notice.” We werken er hard aan om in de toekomst andere apparaten en functies voor u beschikbaar te maken via Alexa.

Hoe te beginnen?
Verbind allereest uw GARDENA-account met uw Alexa om gebruik te kunnen maken van de functie. Activeer de functie en open deze met: "Alexa, open smart system". De functie zal u verder uitleggen hoe u verder kunt gaan.

GARDENA smart system works with Apple HomeKit

GARDENA smart Water Control, smart Irrigation Control, smart Sensor and smart Power work with Apple HomeKit. And with a simple software update, existing users can add their GARDENA devices to the Apple Home app and have Siri® control their devices. GARDENA has leveraged Apple’s software authentication for HomeKit to enable compatibility without the use of other new hardware.

The initial setup of watering schedules is managed through the GARDENA app, which advises users on the optimum settings. Once that is set up, irrigation systems can then be easily controlled by voice using Siri or with the touch of a button on the Apple Home app on iPhone, iPad, Mac and HomePod.

How to integrate your GARDENA smart system device into Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT

Makkelijker kan het niet: de GARDENA smart-app begeleidt u stap voor stap. Ga gewoon naar "Instellingen". Onder “Smart Home” vind u dan mogelijke integraties zoals Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa en IFTTT. Kies uw integratie en volg de eenvoudige instructies.

IFTTT: Verbind het GARDENA smart system met uw favoriete apps en apparaten

Het smart system van GARDENA werkt met IFTTT. Dit cloudplatform biedt gebruikers oneindige manieren om hun smart tuin met andere apps en apparaten te verbinden. IFTTT is een gratis platform dat verschillende toepassingen en apparaten met elkaar verbindt. De afkorting staat voor "If this, then that". Gebruikers kunnen hun favoriete ondersteunde apps en apparaten verbinden. Zelfs hele ketens van acties zijn mogelijk. Via deze verbinding kunnen gebruikers onbeperkte functies creëren voor hun GARDENA smart system apparaten. Om gebruikers te helpen aan de slag te gaan, heeft GARDENA een aantal praktische verbindingen tot stand gebracht met populaire services op het platform. Gebruikers kunnen deze verbindingen onmiddellijk inschakelen of aanpassen aan hun individuele behoeften. Smart power, de buitenstekkeradapter, kan bijvoorbeeld worden aangesloten om de tuinverlichting in te schakelen of wanneer u thuiskomt. Irrigatie kan worden gestopt volgens lokale weergegevens. The perfect companion for large gardens: the Husqvarna Automower

The robotic lawnmower Automower from Husqvarna can now be integrated into the GARDENA smart system. In addition to GARDENA's intelligent SILENO mowing robots, which cover lawn sizes from 500 to 1,300 square meters, the Husqvarna Automower offers an alternative for customers with large and complex gardens of up to 5000 square meters and a gradient of up to 45%.
