Putting water in motion

Putting water in motion

The powerful pump, which is easy to operate, can be used to get water moving – whether for the purpose of drainage, transfer or pumping out. Both in the Clear Water Submersible Pump and the Dirty Water Submer-sible Pump segments, GARDENA will provide little power packages with maximum application convenience in 2017 with its new starter models.

If the washing machine has flooded the cellar or if you wish to pump out the rainwater barrel prior to winter, the new GARDENA Classic Clear Water Submersible Pump 7000/C is the right choice. Clear or slightly dirty water containing particles of up to five millimetres in size are pumped by the model quickly and reliably with up to 7,000 litres per hour. If, for example, the garden pond has to be pumped out, the new GARDENA Classic Dirty Water Submersible Pump 7000/D can be used. Water containing dirt particles with a diameter of up to 25 millimetres can easily be conveyed by the pump. The delivery capacity also totals up to 7,000 litres per hour on this model. Thanks to a new handle, the pumps can easily be brought to the respective application Location.

Both pumps feature a particularly robust housing made of plastic. The perfectly-positioned hose connection helps the unit to stand well. This is integrated into the housing so that the pump does not tip up even during operation. The pumps also feature a float switch. It ensures that the pump is automatically switched on when a certain level is exceeded. As soon as sufficient water has been pumped and the level drops, it automatically switches off again. The switch-on and switch-off heights can be individually adjusted by locking the float switch on the pump housing at three different heights. Manual or continuous operation of the pumps is also possible. Both models are equipped with a dry-running safety.

The new GARDENA Classic Clear Water Submersible Pump 7000/C and the new GARDENA Classic Dirty Water Submersible Pump 7000/D have a new, practical quick-release fastener system. If dirt particles block the pump, it can be opened using quick-release fasteners on the outer housing simply by giving it a half-turn. Once the blockage has been loosened, the two parts can quickly and easily be joined together once more.

For the hose connection, three different adapters are available which can also be stored on the respective pump. This prevents them from being lost. On the Classic Clear Water Submersible Pump 7000/C and on the Classic Dirty Water Submersible Pump 7000/D, hoses from 13 millimetres (1/2") to 32 millimetres (1¼") can be connected as required.
