The Water Control and Sensor Set from GARDENA takes care of irrigating your plants fully automatically. Automatic irrigation is a great help in garden or balcony care, especially if you are away lot or want to make your day more flexible. The Water Control Select is connected directly to the water tap. You can connect your GARDENA hose to the water outlet and then connect it to a sprinkler, a Micro-Drip drip irrigation or an underground sprinkler system, for example. The control unit can be removed and here you can conveniently set up to three different irrigation schedules. To do this, you programme the start time, irrigation duration and weekdays for each programme using the large, intuitive setting button. Each programme can be set for a irrigation duration of 1 minute up to 7 hours and 59 minutes. All three programmes are visible on the LCD screen. Various useful functions of the garden irrigation system make it even easier for you. A display lock prevents you from accidentally changing a setting. If you only need a bucket of water, you can get water directly from the tap with the GARDENA Water Control Select thanks to the Water Now function. The Safe-Stop function ensures that the next irrigation is not started if the battery level is too low. This way the water flow never runs out of control. The Soil Moisture Sensor included in the set is connected to the GARDENA Water Control Select via the 5 metre long sensor connection cable. The sensor allows you to irrigate your plants in the garden in the most water-saving and efficient way possible. The Soil Moisture Sensor measures the moisture content of the soil and indicates whether there is still enough residual moisture. If this is the case, the Water Control Select skips the next irrigation cycle. So irrigation is only carried out when it is really necessary. Thanks to its compact size, the battery-powered soil moisture sensor is not only suitable for lawns or flower beds, but also for smaller plant pots. To ensure that the sensor does not interfere with lawn care, it has a particularly low height and a flat surface: both lawn mowers and robotic mowers can easily drive over the sensor.
