There are broccoli varieties that can be harvested for up to six months, that’s if you harvest them correctly. Broccoli will form a central or main head as the plant matures. The secret cut and come again broccoli is to harvest the central head of broccoli using a sharp knife to cut the stalk just below the florets. Within a week or so side shoots will start to appear and within a couple of weeks you can harvest these side shoot which are perfect in a stir fry or gently steamed.
